Starting from the week of June 17th, 2024, Walmart Connect will initiate an A/B test on item pages on both the Walmart website and app. This test will involve the introduction of an extra carousel specifically highlighting items rated ‘4 stars and above’. This carousel aims to provide a prominent platform for showcasing recommended products with ratings of “4 stars or higher“, potentially inspiring shoppers during their browsing experience. The test duration is slated for up to four weeks.
Campaign Actions:
- Automatic campaigns will be automatically included in testing with no optout capability therefore NO ACTION REQUIRED TO OPT-IN TO TEST
- Manual campaigns will have the opportunity to opt in or out of this test.

Criteria to serve in the ‘4 stars and above’ carousel placement:
- 4+ star ratings
- At least 20 item reviews *There will be no exceptions to these criteria
Reporting: The item carousel placement will fall under the carousel level placement report. This combines both search and item carousel placement data and will not be broken out.
