You must pay a Referral Fee for each product you sell on Walmart Marketplace as a Marketplace seller. The Contract Category (sometimes called the Product Type) of your item determines the Referral Fee.
What is a Referral Fee?
A portion of each product’s total sales is used as the referral fee. The Product Type that Walmart designates for your items during the Item Setup procedure determines the Referral Fee.
What is a Contract Category?
It’s critical to understand which Contract Category your items are assigned to since Referral Fees differ between categories. The kind of products sold on the Marketplace is matched by a Contract Category, also known as a Product Type.
Where Can I Find My Referral Fee?
Each of your items’ Contract Categories are displayed in the Contract Category column of your Payment Report, which is accessible through Seller Centre. The Commission Rate column displays the portion of the Referral Fee that is allotted to your items.
